We speak to a charity and they tell us what they need.
We do a little prep work just to make sure we are fully prepared.
We write code for 24 hours. Don’t worry we take pizza breaks!
We end up with a website that will bring further value to the charity.
One of the biggest challenges of CodeRaiser is to produce something of high quality, despite the constraints and fatigue caused by a 24 hour rush. That’s why we meet with the charity, and do just enough preparation beforehand to ensure a plan is in place.
We may produce wireframes and some basic design templates beforehand, but the majority of the heavy lifting is done during the most insane 24 hours our development team will ever experience!
We believe not only in raising money and supporting local charities, but also giving something back. We use our experties as web designers and developers to build websites for charities to help keep them up to date in the digital world while they continue helping people in the real world.
The digital world is just as important for charities as it contains information people need before seeking help. We aim to make this information easier to reach.
Our first project is to re-design and build a website for the Stevenage Home-Start charity.
Home-Start helps families with young children deal with whatever life throws at them. They support parents as they learn to cope, improve their confidence and build better lives for their children. The benefits of their support include improved health and well being and better family relationships.
If you'd like to help us out there are many ways that you can do so.
